Privacy notice
What we collect, why we hold it, how long for, and how to have it removed.
What we collect
Account details — your name and email address, plus your app role and the date you accepted the AI usage terms.
Login activity — the time of each sign-in, how you signed in (email or Google) and the browser or device string your browser sends. This keeps the login-streak feature working and lets us spot unusual access.
What you write — forum posts, comments and votes, and your prediction game picks and scores.
Alert addresses — if you sign up for the waitlist, calendar alerts or event reminders, the email address you gave and your timezone, so reminders arrive at the right local time.
We do not ask users to connect a trading account, and we do not collect broker credentials from users.
Why we hold it, and our lawful basis
We use your account details and the content you create to run your account and the features you use — under our contract with you. Login activity and alert subscriptions are used to keep the service secure and to send the alerts you asked for, which rests on our legitimate interest and, for the emails, your consent.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Where your data is held
Our hosting, database and email delivery providers store and process data in the United States. That means your information is transferred outside the UK and the European Economic Area.
Those transfers are covered by recognised safeguards — standard contractual clauses or the UK equivalent — together with data processing agreements with each provider, which require them to protect your data to a standard equivalent to UK and EU law.
How long we keep it
Account details and the content you create stay while your account is open. Login activity is kept for as long as it is useful for security and the streak feature. Alert subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove them.
When you ask to be erased, we remove the records listed above rather than simply deactivating the account.
Who else sees it
Only the people who need to, and the providers that run the service for us: cloud hosting and database, email delivery, and — where you use an AI feature — the model provider that writes that analysis. Those providers act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.
We may disclose information where the law requires it.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected, have it erased, receive it in a portable format, or object to how we use it. You can also withdraw consent for alert emails at any time.
To make a request, reach us through Support. If you are not satisfied with our response you have the right to complain to your local data protection authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office.
Cookies and local storage
We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and to remember display preferences such as your theme and whether a panel was left open. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
